Our Programs
-
Virtual courses, workshops, and practical resources that help parents and caregivers strengthen communication, understand behavior, establish healthier routines, support emotional regulation, and build stronger family relationships.
-
Accessible education and tools that help caregivers recognize stress, protect their well-being, practice healthy coping strategies, and create sustainable patterns for themselves and their families.
-
Clear, approachable education that helps families understand emotions, trauma, stress, and mental health. Participants learn practical strategies, recognize when additional support may be needed, and feel more confident seeking help.
The TLC Family Well-Being Initiative
The TLC Family Well-Being Initiative brings families, professionals, and community partners together to strengthen whole-family well-being through education, prevention, caregiver support, and community connection.
Our approach is trauma-informed, practical, and grounded in the belief that supporting children begins with supporting the adults who guide them. Through free blended workshops, educational resources, and connections to trusted community services, we help families build healthier relationships, strengthen confidence, and navigate everyday challenges.
Free family workshops launching in 2027.
Made possible with community support
Teaching, Love & Care Community Services is grateful to the Albemarle Foundation for awarding $2,500 in support of the TLC Family Well-Being Initiative. This funding will help make family education, caregiver resources, and community programming accessible at no cost to participating families in 2027.
How Our Programs Are Delivered
